BAIL BONDS AT THE MONO COUNTY JAILS

There are only around seven thousand people who live in Mammoth Lakes year round, but that population swells to 40,000 during peak ski season. According to the local courts, most of the arrests that take place in this area involve recreational visitors and DUIs are the most common reason for arrest.

So who do you turn to if you are from out of town and have been arrested in the Mammoth Lake area?  Your best bet is to contact a bail bond agency that has dealt with the local Sheriffs and is familiar with both the arrest procedure in Mammoth and the bail bond process in general.

Our company, Greg Rynerson Bail Bonds, fits this bill.  We are family owned and run and we have a 40 year track record of success. Our licensed and experienced bondsmen will walk you through the entire bail bond process.  It begins by filling out our easy application, which we can send to you by fax, email or deliver in person.  Our consultation is free and we have many payment plans. Since both men and women who are arrested in Mammoth Lake are taken to the Mono County Jail for booking and processing, we will post the bail there.  This jail is open 24 hours a day and so are we. You can reach us by calling 888-224-5266, (888) BAIL BOND.

If you are calling from another part of California, and/or for another jail, we also post bail bonds throughout the entire state.

MONO JAIL INFORMATION

This jail is best known as the detention center where Sean Penn stayed in the 1980s, back when he was married to Madonna and was arrested for punching a reporter.  Penn actually paid the state of California for the privilege to doing his jail time at Mono, rather than in LA County.

The Mono County jail was new at the time, having been built in that decade.  It was and still is run by the local Sheriff’s Department.  It is a relatively small facility that houses about 75 inmates, both male and female.  It is a maximum and minimum security prison that is open for bail 24/7.
